The three topics I chose for my research presentation were Girl Culture, Instagram, and Sustainability.
Prior to the presentation, I had already felt like I could combine Girl Culture and Instagram. After I showed a few pieces I made over the break out of makeup, I realized I could actually probably combine all three.
As I continue to move forward in my thought process and research, I think it is important that I define my definition of girlhood, and when girlhood ends and womenhood begins. I also think that I need to research more sustainable materials before deciding on which medium I would like to use for studio.
