In an effort to present just how much time has given us in terms of clarity about our own rights as women, we highlighted the works and words of some of the most influential women throughout our past and current history. Their legacies have either continued to live and breathe among their work, while others are still around to speak freely with us. Our sequential recut is meant as an homage to their words and quite literally outlines the aging process, acting as a symbol of the pain and hardship that these women experienced throughout their lives in order to free their voices. This book contains portraits of the activists and the their quotes, specifically the ones that we found most relevant in terms of our political and social climate.
