Lifetime Clock – Sustainable Systems

In this lifetime clock I have tried to highlight the most important memories that come to my mind. I decided to separate the clock in half to show the before and after of my complexity and role in life when I turned 12. I think that when I turned 12 is when I started thinking more for myself as is more or less when you hit puberty. I tried using different color schemes to portray the green side with a sun at the top to portray how ‘light’ and not heavy my life was before you start taking conscious actions about yourself. Whereas, the darker side with the moon is when you start to get to know yourself more in a deeper level. I got this idea from how people read birth charts in astrology, and how you have a ‘sun sign’ and a ‘moon sign’, the first one being what you portray to the world, the second how you really are inside. I think this was fitting as we all have different layers to ourselves and the more we explore the inside of who we are, the darker it can be sometimes (such as fighting my anxiety), or how they say ‘innocence is bliss’ and when you are a kid you are filled with innocence and pureness, therefore the bright side.
