Since I walked at night, I realized that there were much less people on the street. People also felt more open, because not many of them were on their phones. Also, the streets were a bit empty so I was able to really see the dirt and garbage left on the ground from the day. The air was not so clean, and smelled a lot like urine. As I got closer to the Flatiron district, however, I felt like the air began to get a bit more clearer.
