The table was approximately 30 inch high, 30 wide and 20 inch long
wood and plexiglas
Locations: corner of 16th Street and Union Square
12/20/15 ; 3 to 4pm
I stand behind the table and explained to people that were stopping by how to use my object, first they had to chose a theme (the city, light, sensibility, money, fashion,…) then write the address of someone they knew and send it. I chose the location based upon the fact that they were two mail box near it.
It was my first time being in the street, trying to convince people to come and experience something I made. I not sure if it was because of the location or because of how presented my object, but people were hard to stop and they all thought that it was for a petition or that we were trying to sell something. People were also quite surprise when they learned that it was free. An other amusing thing is that they were all pretty confused on where to put the address and what exactly to put. Only two of them knew the address of the people they wanted to sent it to, and it was their mother.
