This is a self portrait of me. Obviously, the sketched face on the left is myself. I drew the background to tell that I like shopping. The family figures represents my family: father, mother, and twin brother. The figure of Maria on the right represents my religion, a Catholic. The image of a graduating figure represents my goal at this moment. The images I chose around me are very obvious and to the point. The viewers don’t have to think why I chose to put these images since its not metaphoric or representational. I could have just cut out a shape of a triangle and say that this represents my personal trait of sharpness and accurateness, but I didn’t want to do that.
