In this project we were given a chance to collaborate with other people from the class. We needed to figure out a way in which we could combine the subjects we presented in project 1 together to introduce a new topic. Veena’s subject was centred around the idea of the emotional impact of mental illness, Eva’s subject was about the idea and impact of change and mine was about the influence of quality fabrics in fashion. We decided to create a book we named The Fabrics of Life. This book was filled with pictures of different fabrics that at the same time represented an emotion and moment in life. We created a cycle of life with just fabrics and quotes from the moment of birth to death. My section was incorporated in the fabrics, Veena’s in the emotional aspect and Eva’s in the idea of change throughout someone’s life. We presented it by reading the book to the class as if it were a story book.
