In this project we were given a chance to go in depth about a certain subject. I wanted to make a booklet about Silk so that I could go deeper into a specific fabric. We needed to pick a group partner to again, combine our past projects and create something new. Eva studied the art of making fabric books.
Silk is a timeless fabric that has a long history and has remained as one of the most used luxurious fabrics today. In this booklet we concentrated on giving a brief history and explanation of silk in the fashion industry. We started writing about the historical aspect of silk followed by the uses of it and finally we dedicated a section to the silk scarf so that we could better explain an international use that silk has in the fashion industry.
