Photograph figure drawings completed in class. Scan or photograph handheld objects. Import images into Illustrator and create silhouettes (outlines) of the figures and objects using only black fills. Create three 8.5 x 11 inch compositions by combining the objects with the figures. Print out the three sheets of letter-sized paper to turn in at the beginning of class.
Select path. Use Object > Path > Simplify to clean up lines.
Select multiple paths. Use Window > Pathfinder > Extrude to make holes within your shapes.
BONUS: Create one composition in honor of Halloween. Give the figure’s head the outline of an animal.
