Following the success of the distorted grid project in my fall 2012 Explorations in Drawing class, I decided to incorporate it into the Drawing/Imaging class. The students were again slightly apprehensive at first about the unwieldiness of the lines but near the end of the project they began to feel more confident. A quote from one of my students about the project: “This is a surprising and fun project. I didn’t think it would end up like it did. It was difficult at first but then it became so cool.”
