Reflections on overall progress during semester

In the beginning of the semester, I was really messy. I didn’t know how to clearly illustrate my ideas. After the first project, which was the derive, I realized that this was due to a lack of precision implied by not sketching and not brainstorming my ideas. Starting from the second project, which was the environmental portrait, I started working by being based on an organized process: brainstorming, evaluating, sketching. As a result, my grades got higher, and my production was way more relevant. I’m looking forward to improve even more.

Talking about artworks in class was really effective and helpful. I wish we had more exhibition visits. Having a part 1 & part 2 for the assignments is also a great idea. But maybe it would have been better if we had the choice to produce a prototype or just suggest ideas for the part 1, as we were restricted by the time.
