Awareness Campaign: global warming gifs.
- What is something that doesn’t have a lot of campaigns / what is something that has a lot of campaign about but is not given importance to?
- On my I remembered writing something down about Trumps and one of his statements saying that global warming was a ‘hoax’ and that it was created by China.
Topic: global warming
- Research on evidence of global warming around the globe. Came across a website generated by NASA, showing study cases on various locations on which global warming had had an impact on; chose pictures and the information from that website, so that it would be real information and not an exaggerated truth.
- Questioning of how to display it / Show it?
Wanted the campaign to be accessible to a large number of people + connected to youth/modern era. What is something I check-use everyday?à Instagram?
- Created 11 gifs on Photoshop + a ‘slogan’ that would be on each gif
Exporting them in video format so that they could play on repeat in Instagram.
- Make a Gmail account that would be used for Instagram à finding a name: something simple: global warming gifs.
- Creating an Instagram page with the handle @globalwarminggifs
- Posting the gifs + writing information about that below each.
- Finding hashtags that are suitable for the topic and posting them as well.
- Making the account public.
