Immersive Storytelling Response 3

This week, Laurel related interaction design with Plato’s four causes. This was an interesting connection, and I found myself using games and other contemporary media to see where these principles fit in. Matter, agent, and End Purpose all made more or less sense, and I was able to draw relationships. The cause that I wrestled with was form, which I understood as change defined by arrangement shape or appearance. While considering the place of formal causes in video games, I began to consider how to explain concepts like this through interactive media.
