These are two pieces that I worked on based off photos we took during class in order to play with the idea of negative space. My subject was the shapes that were produced by the bodysuit I was wearing. I also included the wall of the UC in order to create additional contrasts in the composition.
The goal of the exercise was to explore the relationship between figure and ground, and my medium was digital photography and Adobe Illustrator, using all straight-line segments.
