Additionally, you should answer the following questions about your work:

1. Why did you choose the object you chose?

The camera itself had evoked curiosity, the origin of this camera was unknown. I had purchased it for a dollar at a thrift store in Gun Barrel City, Texas, so the neglect evoked a need to treasure it and because these devices have become rare or vintage, I knew I would want to create with it.

2. What quadrant or quadrants of the AQAL did your object relate to? And how.

I chose to focus on the IT, an objective approach, I wanted to create a series of pieces that narrated this objects position in today’s time and space. I wanted to relate its physicality to its function.

3. What is your Tag Line – or what is ONE SENTENCE that describes the thesis of your narrative?

The old is narrated by the new.

4. What medium did you choose? Why?

I chose digital GIFS, because I wanted to create a juxtapose between analog mediums and digital formats, which are seen much more commonly today.

5. What context would you like your viewers to know about your subject or the medium that/ us will help them understand your work better?

I bought this camera not knowing if it was going to work.
