The objective of this assignment was to package an emotion without any sayings or words. At first, I found it extremely difficult to “package an emotion” since I have never done package design. After many sketches and ideas, I picked “anticipation’.
Here is a sketch of my final idea. When you first view the box, it is a simple box with a cool blue tone to it along with a bright orange ribbon sticking from the top. The ribbon is supposed to get the viewer excited, thus leading to anticipation. When you lift the ribbon from the box, an intricate shape with bright colour will burst out promoting a sense of happiness and/or excitement.
