   1. I find it genius that she is using the fact that people are inherently lazy to fix a lot of design issues that we have. Rather than forcing people out of their comfort zones shes is thinking out of the box by staying in the box.

   1. When looking at designing products, there is so much more to it than just looks. One must understand how people of all different races and size react to the product and whether it is easy to use. It seems like the appearance is the last concern.

   1. It is inspiring to see how communities all over the country are trying to combat problems with sustainable designs solution that will provide eco-friendly ways to solve issues. Not only were actual designers involved, but the fact that they were teaching and passing on their ideas to the next generation will also help ensure that the problems we have now will continue to be addressed.

Collaboration

Now, more than ever, the world is a place of collaboration. Humans have developed to the point where a single mind cannot solve all our problems anymore. By combining ideas and working together, society is pushing itself to progress faster and farther than it ever had. In art, we see the collaboration at work: graphic designers working with computer engineers, fashion icons working with web designers, the list continues to grow. As an industry, artists and designers are also more like a community than an individual. With the technology boom of the past decade or so, creatives are now forces to collaborate in order to create products and application suites for the general public.

With one head, you can reach far, but with multiple, you can reach the end.

2 Style Stories

The day began in silence. No birds chirp, no wind blew, nothing. Yet the lack of noise didn’t seem to bother the town of Gilshire. One of the founding settlements of Folkhaven, Gilshire was big, wealthy, and just a little too confident in their protecting walls. The guards securing the outer ring of the town never walked in a hurried pace. They even had the occasional picnic when the weather was just too good to waste. So, even in the midst of a silent morning, no one was bothered. Its a shame because by nightfall, there will only be two survivors.

Like a plague, a chilling silence pervaded the city. Blowing past the patrolling guards, and into the homes of all the citizens. It came as a surprise, a bad omen, yet life in Gilshire continues as per usual. No one suspected anything to lie behind the silence. No one suspected to war.
