[PUPD 1050] INTRO TO PHOTOGRAPHY- Light & Composition

(Black & White)

  The light and composition project uses the black and white mode on the camera mainly concentrate on developing the structure of each photograph. 72 digital photographs in black and white mode should be taken on the digital camera about whatever subjects that are interesting. After selecting 6 photographs that are most successful, they should be printed on the Durst Digital-C printer with size of 8*10.

  This series of photographs were taken on the way walking through New York City and mainly focused on recording the concert happening in Chinatown and a parade in Little Italy area. These photographs indicate the relationship between  the audiences and the events themselves. Especially how audiences emerged in those events. By focusing on the facial expression of the audiences in different age groups, these photos show how young and old people’s attitude toward the event(Enjoy in their unique way).
