This piece is for the Clutter murder case and also the release of the novel In Cold Blood.
Ideally, this memorial will be placed beside the existed memorial beside the murder house. Unlike other memorials, this one is not for the dead family but for the public who feels too close to this case and twist the factual information of this incident.
I used wires to build the structure of the murder house with the background being the twisted portraits of the family members while the beneath layer being a photoshopped photo of the real memorial and the picture of the house.
This is a reminder of how we should take position when facing a murder case without being overly dramatic. This also aims for letting people think what is the true respect of a serious murder case.
