First we built miniature models of two seating devise ideas.
Next we chose one design and placed it on the wall using tape to get a sense of an appropriate scale for our pieces.
Then, using the measurements from the tape we scaled down our measurements to a more workable size and drew life-size models of our projects 
Next we built models from cardboard and tape of our pieces in the same size we intended our wood pieces to be.
Finally I created my piece from plywood at 1/3 of the size of my real design. In order to show the concept, I scaled up my wood piece in photoshop and showed it as a part of a New York City street scene.
