Seminar Rough Draft Reflection

I started my drafting process by looking over my outline and going through each point I wanted to make in my paper. In my outline, I also included how I planned to transition from one argument/topic to the next, so I had a sense of what I wanted to end/start each section with. Then I began writing the body paragraphs. I tried to capture both the substance of the argument, and the tone I wanted to convey to the reader. After finishing my draft, I think I have a solid start to my paper. Finishing this draft gave me more confidence that the final paper will be engaging. I think now that I have the bones of the argument, I just need to work on crafting the way in which I support and explain my points. I will plan to wait a few days, read over my paper, and begin reworking the parts of the argument that fall flat.
