A piece of modular architectural fabric constructed of identical hexagons. The fabric flexes in all directions and can be rolled or shaped from either side of its surface. Designed as a multipurpose shelter and garment for the imagined world of Hivera (pamphlet here), which is hivelike and has extraordinary atmospheric pressure, the fabric can either be worn or set up on a surface as a self-supporting shape.
Prototype of fabric:
Chipboard, mylar, brass fasteners.
