For my final project I decided to experiment with different natural glues. After some time of combining and refining my experiments, I came up with a very strong rice glue. I cooked the rice and with water blended it for a long time. The glue is perfect for paper. I found old newspapers and glued them in many layers to create the parts of the bag. Then with embroidery thread sewed the bag together.
There are many different types of natura glues:
-cornstarch glue
-milk glue
-flour and water glue
etc…
These were the different glues I want to further explore making.
