These two piecesĀ helped me create my final “Times Square.” In de Chirico’s piece, the use one-point perspective assists to create depth. The use of shadow and color create an environment for the piece. In Max Ernst’s piece the use of three dimensional objects drastically creates depth. The two pieces are similar in the sense that they depict blue skies with an “ombre” tone. Both utilize one-point perspective as did my final work.
