Times Square

In this photograph two-point perspective is utilized. The upward direction that the photo was taken clearly depicts height and size. The sharp corners of the buildings and signs create a dynamic photograph. I find the symmetry of this photograph interesting. A place like times square has many drastically different subjects but because we are seeing side sides of one whole the image is very serial.

In this photograph one-point perspective is utilized. The sidewalk which points towards the upper left side of the image forces the eye to see space. I find it interesting that increasingly the design approaches used in times square are no longer unique. Replicas of the same tile work and benches are spread throughout the stretch of the area creating a theme, visually.
