Beyonce, Pope Francis, and Michelle Obama
For my chart I decided to focus on Beyonce, Pope Francis, and Michelle Obama. By tracking their popularity over the years, it was interesting to see the comparison between these major public figures. Beyonce’s popularity had many inclines, especially in 2009 and towards the end of 2014. In comparison to Pope Francis and Michelle Obama, whose levels are pretty similar, Beyonce’s out numbers them significantly. The major spike in Pope Francis was in 2013, when he became the Pope. Michelle Obama’s spike was in 2009, which was year that Obama officially took office. It was interesting to see how a singer, the First Lady, and the leader of the Catholic church all differ in popularity.
