    There are several ways to remove clips from your sequences in Premiere Pro.
    Author Maxim Jago shows you the basics of lift and extract, delete, and ripple-delete.

    What if you want to blur our a persons face? Make someones’s eyes red? Change the color of just the sky in a clip?
  • Automatic mask tracking
    What if you want to apply an effect to someone’s face but they move through a shot? What if you want to put a black bar in front of someone’s eyes to protect their identity but they keep moving? Amazingly, premiere can actually move masked effects automatically tracking the movement of the objects that you specify!
  • Creating Text masks – Footage inside your text
    He also uses Motion tools to animate movement and rotation, so it’s a good reminder of those tools too!
    The person doing this tutorial mentioned “Alpha” a lot. If you want to know what it is he’s talking about (casually it is invisible content on a layer) here’s a description from Adobe.

You can upload your roughcut before 4/13 to the Time Drop Box > folder Short Circuit Roughs
Use a format that will make your file smaller for upload, for example H.264 > Vimeo 720p .
