As a group we had to create a “human wall” with a material or an object – connecting use together- but by sending a message; a protest.
My group chose to protest anti-censorship regarding books. We created two large books (one per two people) and a fire at the base made out of red see threw acetate. We chose: “Catcher in the Rye” and “Lord of the Flies.” All the writing is in the same red as that of the acetate, so when the acetate goes over the writing it disappears, further emphasising the idea of fire.
