DeConReconstruction

We went to Goodwill and found a children’s transformer costume. It had all this padding in it for the muscles. Certain patterns made up little faces and we cut some of them out because we thought they were cute.

After we took our photos and deconstructed the pieces we decided to make toys based off of the one we cut out before. They are functional because of the velcro aspect of it. We found other strange shapes with the padding in them and made the toys based off those shapes. We wanted them to be more ambiguous so people were more inclined to play with them and choose how they wanted them to look. I think as a group we worked really well together.
