During my first semester, I was able to achieve some of my goals for the year. I was able to attend a wood-shop, and a design lab orientation. This was important to me because I can now use new mediums for works.
I was also able to use more of Adobe Premiere to edit a couple of videos for the Time class. I want to make sure I can edit and produce a visually appealing video for my magazine’s fashion video.
In terms of creative goals, I do want to create a video that I can use new effects with and make sure it flows smoothly.
As I progress in the production of the magazine, I am still balancing out working on shoots, as well as managing homework for other classes and work. However, as midterms have passed I am able to focus and put all of my energy into the magazine again.
In the progression of the magazine, I am keeping up with my fashion calendars to ensure that all shoots are planned.
It’s also a new process coming up with several shoots that all fit a similar aesthetic, but it is becoming a bit easier as the magazine is building up.
In terms of my creative goals, I want to push myself to think outside of the box and create new and different ideas for editorials. It is important for myself to learn how to think in a new perspective and differently.
