Wire Shoe

A.

I decided to twist my wires together to create thick and straight wire. I then began working with the sole of my shoe. My made sure to add and inner sole and I did that by zigzagging the wire on top of the sole to create it. I then continued on working of other aspects of the shoe like the foot opening and the front of it. I did the eyelets last.

1.The orthographic drawing was very helpful because I was constantly checking back for measurements and shapes for references.

  1. What helped me a lot with this project was by dividing my shoes into sections so I planned out when I had to
    3. I also realized that the wire shoes shrink and you have to constantly be checking your measurements. My wire shoe became too narrow and therefore it got longer instead of wider.

I loved everyone’s shoe. Everyone did a great job, I loved the boot the most. It was extremely  clean and solid. I wanted to keep on holding it in my hand. I liked the different “textures” she created with the wire for different parts of the boot. You can tell how much work and effort that she put into it.
