5 vessels together

This brightly colored image incorporates all five vessels (deconstructed, abstract, water-carrier, conceptual, and appropriated) on a backdrop of crumpled paper. Each vessel was made with paper and in this image, the background focuses on the three-dimensional aspect of paper- its texture. Paper is more easily conceptualized as three-dimensional when it has a visible volume. We use paper in two dimensions, to draw, paint, print, etc. In making my vessels I chose to use something normally reserved for 2D, in order to create 3D objects.
