Project 1:B – The Things We Keep

Five of the most special things that are at my current home are my candle, faux plant which is a cactus, dead flowers, a plate, and a photo of my friends. The candle was given to me by a close friend before I left for college. He told me I would need this cause he knew my dorm would be rank. This was given to me about 5 months ago and now its by my window sill because of how small it is. It’s about 3x2x2. The brand of the candle is DIptyque so it would probably be from Paris. It’s made out of glass and candle wax. The faux cactus is a gift from my mom. My mom gave it to me about 4 months ago and it’s also currently next to my window. It’s 6x3x3 and made with glass and plastic. My third item are the flowers my dad sent over for my birthday while he was at home in the Philippines. This was given to me about four months ago and its next to my window. The size of the flowers are 12x5x6. The photo on my wall was given by another friend before I left for college. This reminds me of the memories back home. It was given to me 5 months ago before I left for college. Its size is 7×4 and it was printed in the Philippines. Lastly, the clear plate was given to my mom when she was in California. She found it in one of the flea markets she went to. Its size is 1x7x7 and it’s made of glass. According to my mom, the plate was from Europe.
