The Context of Time: Final Proposal

For my final project, I wanted to explore the concept of time itself, in multiple contexts. Time has always been something that has both interested me and scared me, because it is one of the few things in life that is inevitable. I often worry about time, or more specifically. I’m afraid of not having enough time to understand people, how they really are, or to be understood. Sometimes I feel like time is a vortex that keeps me from doing the things that I really want to do. And sometimes I feel like time is a stack of books that I need to be studying but lack the strength to. The questionable expiration date is always there. Will I have enough time? With this question always lurking in the back of my mind, I can’t tell if what I am hearing is the sound of my fingers typing, or the seconds of my life ticking away. I wanted to channel these feelings into two persona pieces, one that involves time in the short term sense and one that involves time in the long term sense. By using mostly shades of red and yellow, I wanted to convey a feeling of urgency, overwhelm, and anxiety.

1 Paragraph brief

For my final project, I wanted to channel the persona project but trying to depict emotions through use of color. I used mainly red and yellow but I also scarcely used blue. Red is supposed to represent urgency, yellow is supposed to represent conflict and uncertainty, and blue is supposed to represent stability.
