When looking through Onur’s pictures, I noticed that there was a theme of vibrance in the photographs; vivid landscapes and photos of himself that almost looked painterly. The photos seemed to be more visually satisfying than the typical Facebook post documenting something that happened. From looking at the photos, I would think that the person who owned them lived a very interesting life, with many adventures and stories. I wanted to capture this in a painting of Onur, to commemorate the vibrance that his photos portray him to have. I used more abstract, fun colors to symbolize this.
