The overall theme that I found from my dress log was that I definitely dress towards a more casual and convenient style throughout my week, especially during school days. One thing that I also noticed while carrying out the dress practice log was the my psychological state when choosing my outfit, where I chose different outfits for a different audience, which was generally between myself and the other people. The workout/ gym outfits that I chose was primarily focused to boost my mood and how I feel in the clothes, that would motivate me to work out, however, for clothes that were for going out, had more varying aspects that effected my decisions. Such factors were the the types of location, people, activity and weather I would get that day, which requires an extra amount of effort in deciding my outfit. Also, I couldn’t agree more to the fact that people generally choose their outfits out of their convenience — usually the first things they see in the wardrobe — most of the time. I realised that I unconsciously knew the fact that I do this, which is why I have organised my wardrobe the way it is now, where I have displayed and hung most of my clothes so that I could skim through what I have and quickly match the styles in my head. Otherwise, I would forget that I had such garments, that would result to essentially abandoning those clothing before I display them again.
