Bensaihanzhi Zhang is my name and Fashion Design is my major.
Looking through my previous post, the subjects majorly focused on liberal elements such as poetry and specific words, documenting images that were once inspirations to me. Most of the projects recorded the process of my learning where we initiated forming making craft and fine art projects to developing mood boards, rapid prototyping to designing a collection. Sustainability was one of the most frequently used topics from various courses. The thorough informational research on sustainability problems gave a strong base for an explanation for my sustainable themed designs. In addition, there are also multiple field research articles, analyzing museum visits and architectural objects, related the ongoing exhibitions or locations to the subjects we were learning at the time. The most exciting part of the portfolio was the fact that these documentations of learning process showed a very clear pattern improvement on the sophistication of the work.
