Inspiration:
During my interview with Kiana, I discovered that her fear of the Mariana’s Trench wasn’t from the ocean itself, but more-so the fear of the unknown. When listening to a story she had told me, I discovered that the fear was partially from a snorkling trip she had done, where her instructor dove much deeper than anyone else. Due to her being unable to see where he had gone, her fears began to grow as she was unsure of if he was okay.
