medium: cut paper and light
For this project, we were asked to write a monologue and to create a performative object that would be presented with the monologue. For my monologue, I wrote a letter to my future self. My performative object is a paper cut piece. It represents my current emotions. Moving across the country to New York City feels surreal to me, so I used a light projection piece to convey this.
