This sketchbook is a combination of observation drawings, hand, animal, and figure studies, freehand pen drawings, character sketches, and dream journal entries. Mediums I used are pen, colored pencil, graphite pencil, and watercolor paint. The assignment was to finish the sketchbook within two weeks. I believe that keeping a sketchbook is very important for all artists. It is a way for you to record ideas, practice drawing, test out mediums, and to express yourself. You have the freedom to make mistakes and to come up with new concepts.
