TAXONOMIES – Environment
These images were chosen based on my theme of environment. The thematic taxonomy includes photos that are usually spontaneous or daily life based. On the other hand my material taxonomy is made up of pure nature photos that have captured the essence of our natural environment.
One thing I have learned through researching these images was appreciating culture and nature. The material side of taxonomy represents nature and throughout the research I had an amazing realization of how nature forms around us while my thematic taxonomy becomes the other side of the story. Meaning that the thematic side of my taxonomy represents culture and how we as beings have shaped nature.
