Gallery reflection/sunset

All three of the galleries were very interesting and felt more interactive than some pictures or paintings on a wall, in a quiet room. The first gallery had a piece that included the ripples of the water to distort the picture which was a very interesting effect. The second gallery had three animal/human like statues that looked like glass that had molds of other things like an ear on its back, it was beautiful to look at but made me and Isabella think while looking at them. The final gallery, I think, is my favorite. I love using lights and sound and this gallery had the mirrors and screens in a dark room that made it seem so spacious and almost like you were alone, and in the back was this neon sign that said “jungle” which was very nice in photos.  I was very intrgued by all three galleries and what they had to offer, it was like nothing I had seen all year.

For my sunset picture, I had orginally wanted to get a timelapse, but my phone was dying and the highline was full because of the gorgeous day and sunset others had wanted to see, so I took a picture. The timing of sunsets are never ever the same, each sunset is truly unique because of the tilt of the Earth and the season the sun changes over time. A time lapse would have shown a sped up version of the sun setting over a long period of time, the time it takes to turn day to night.
