Unfortunately the place I go to unwind only exists for a certain portion of the year and since I have moved is no longer in the near vicinity. My home is in Madison, Wisconsin and the place I go to unwind exists here. Whether I am stressed about homework or simply having “boy troubles” I go outside on the balcony of my apartment, where the warm sun is beating down at a nice 80 degrees, and lay on a blanket with my eyes closed. I like it because I can be outside in the fresh air, feeling the sun cover me like a blanket, but I’m not exposed to the chaos that is my surrounding environment. Sometimes I do some yoga to calm my nerves, but it’s a nice spot to take a break from my hectic life and just unwind in the fresh air, especially since I lived behind a coop so their was a constant scent of fresh bread and groceries.

As for what I do in the winter… I’d rather be caught cleaning my room then going outside when I didn’t have to, so I’m basically just a ball of stress. I’m still working on finding a new outdoors place to destress for when it finally starts to get warm again.
