Our group decided to integrate all five of our artists that we chose, as we wanted to pay tribute to all of them as they all have remarkable impacts to the art history. The video introduces each artist and their works or their most remarkable features at a time, and at the end every artist’s work would be put together in a form of a digital collage to make a new composition. I was in charge for Basquiat’s part and the digital collage. I chose the timelapse of the Echinopsis cactus’s flower to act as a transition during the basquiat video to the digital collage, as basquiat has a really short buyt impactful career, symbolized by the flower that blooms and dies in 10 hours, extremely beautiful but fragile at the same time.
