This mood board consists of three aspects of the theme Voice of Voiceless.
At the bottom, it’s Iris Grace’s painting. Because if her condition, she couldn’t talk. The only way she can communicate with the world is her painting.
The designs above are how designers associate adults’ wearing with childish elements that try to make them look like clothes for younger people.
The illustration is from a Taiwanese Illustrator’s Starry Starry Sky. It talks about two students who have difficulties making friends with other students but trust each other. The boy is extremely talented and once he and the girl decorated the classroom that participate in a contest. The students and teachers were surprised at their talents and started to know a little bit about the quite two.
The three children’s photo above it are the origin of my theme. When children are young, usually they don’t get to talk to choose the clothes they want to wear. That is one of the reason that people grow up and no longer like the style they used to wear when they were young. Those three children look extremely unsatisfied with their clothes.
The three flower-shape balls and the pink fabric are the texture I recall. The fabric is soft and a little bit fluffy. Some glasses cloth is made of this kind of fabric. If you scratch it, it will shows. When you wipe it from the opposite direction, it will recover. The recovering characteristic let me think about some of children’s characteristics. They are soft. The styles their mom choose for them are like the scratches. They can stay, but also can be changed easily and won’t leave evidence.
