After visiting the Cooper Hewitt exhibit, Nature by Design, I was able to see how nature inspires design. In this group project, I created sketches to show my ideas and worked with my groups members to come up with a product. We came together to create a product inspired by pitcher plants, or funnels.

During this project, I was able to see a shift in the way I work in a group setting. At first, I was a bit nervous to work with more than one person but after we shared our ideas I felt more comfortable. In the beginning, we were confused in what we wanted as our product but after we came up with a set idea we felt comfortable in working together. This allowed me to grow as an artist and to challenge myself to work in different settings. As a group, we are very proud of our product despite the difficult process that it was.
