7 in 7

This is a piece that I did during sophomore year of high school. I had a friend who knew a little about tarot cards and she picked two cards for me, one being the card of my character, the other my counter character. The two cards are the Hermit and the Moon. I think the two cards accurately represent me and so I did this piece that is about inner contradictions and included the two cards in background. During senior year, I re-did this piece in water color, this time with slightly differed content that shows how my vision on myself and my inner contradictions have changed. Later on I learned basics of how to use tarot, and can perform some simple predictions.

I am very interested in tarot and was going to create my set of tarot cards as my senior project, but did not happen. So for this project I wanted to create tarot cards and partially realize what I have failed to realize. I hand drew seven cards including Hermit, Moon, Lovers, Sun, Magician, Queen and Hanged Man.  I did not formally photograph these drawings and accidentally spilled coffee on them after presenting in class, so I redrew the cards but found informal photos of these cards that I took when I was showing a friend what I did. So below are photos of the original cards that I have drawn and a formal scanned picture of the Magician, which is the only card that did not get coffee on it.
