plastic bag

I went home and ironed the plastic bags together and braided the handles. There’s about 3 bags on each side, and the all connect to each other. Handles stapled three times both ways.

This looks good, Caitlin. I appreciate your clear process and the braided handle is a nice touch. You should be able to fix the tear at the top of the bag and also even out the top rim by fusing fresh bags to patch it up. Are the handles fused to the inside of the bag or are they only held together with the few staples that I see? If it’s only held by staples, it could tear rather easily over time with use. And since you have the staples facing outward, they are likely to scratch anything it comes into contact with including clothing and skin. Think about the placement of the staples. Is there a way to make them look like a purposeful design element? Or is there something you can put over the staples to make sure they don’t scratch anything? Otherwise, it looks like a sturdy design and should be able to pass the 10lb weight test this week. Nice job so far.
