- This photograph and dress really caught my eye when researching images for this term paper. I think what caught my eye first was the balance of black and white from the gown. The hair is styles so well making the photograph very strong and powerful. There is a nice element of feminism and elegance. When further doing research it inspired me even more that the women modeling it , Gloria Vanderbilt, was a strong and powerful women. Also knowing that the famous Richard Avedon took this photograph really made me interested in this photograph from the 1960s.

- I have a similar design style that is in this photograph. I love designing pants that go underneath a skirt that can peak through. I also love a bold earring and strong hair and make that I think is shown very well and strong in this photograph.

- I find this image compelling. Think having the model holding on to the kangaroo on the beach is interesting on its own. I also find the model very elegant with a bathing suit that has become popular today.
- I have never created a bathing suit before so I can not say whether or not I would have designed something similar to this. But It is something that would want to wear.
