Rough drafts are essential in writing essays. Like many of the readings we had said, the rough draft helps to get out all the information you have and see what works and what doesn’t. It lets you write as you will at first and edit later to work out all the kinks and problems in the writing. However, I’m a very critical writer which is why writing can be very tiresome for me. That’s why I usually opt for an outline instead of a rough draft because I feel like it helps me organize my thoughts better since I also have a habit of going off topic while I write. For this project though, I want to utilize this method and maybe reconsider my writing habits.
